project runway
omg, last night’s project runway was probably the cutest thing ever. i loved getting a fresh twist on the usual challenge and the fact it recognized the growing trend of well designed kids fashion, plus everything for the little girls were mainly age appropriate (thank goodness).
some of my favorite looks:
yeah, the little girl’s dress was a little uninspired design wise but she was only 5 and freakin’ ADORABLE. plus i really dug the model’s dress. really sexy and chic.
so cool and chic. i would love to wear this outfit with my 8 or 9 year old kid!
that model still grates on me but as a pair of outfits, they really worked together. the dress and coat was cute and age appropriate and the dress was really well tailored. they definitely struck me as a stylish parisian mother and daughter.
i don’t usually like the punk rock look, much less for kids but this was hands down the strongest set of outfits. it may have helped that this little one was SO cute and spunky. the model’s outfit was a really inspired riff on the kids outfit — such a totally sleek and original jacket and the styling was really great! i haven’t liked anything seth aaron has done until now :).
i hope they repeat this concept in future seasons! i’m a sucker for cute little girls :)!
